Matt is a highly seasoned technoloigist, with over twenty years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining world-class technology infrastructure and teams to support business launch and growth. Matt has a high breadth and depth of skills in Solutions Architecture, High Performance Computing, Storage Architecture, Network Engineering, Systems Administration, Infrastructure and Systems Automation, Systems and Network Monitoring, DevOps, Digital Forensics and Technical Training.

In addition to his technical skills, Matt brings value in the areas of Loss Mitigation, Cost Suppression and Technical Mentoring. Matt is capable of seamlessly translating between executives and technology personnel in real time, accelerating processes necessary for quick turnaround times on technical projects. Further, Matt is capable of recognizing the more subtle overlap of multiple stakeholder needs and combining them into a single plan to further reduce costs during implementation.

Matt is currently engaged in a long-term overhaul of the infrastructure of Flagship Biosciences, a technology-driven spatial biology and biomarker services company. In his current role as Solutions Architect, Matt has worked with key stakeholders and the executive leadership team to design and drive the implementation of major changes to the company’s infrastructure, aligning it with the future goals of the company, while maintaining a five-nines uptime in order to facilitate continued operations of the current business model.

Matt has previously provided his skills in a diverse array of industries, including High Performance Compute Infrastructure, Technology Manufacturing, Aerospace and Marine Technology, Landscaping, Construction, Horticulture, Cloud, Telecommunications and Smart Home/IoT. Matt has been a key asset in several certification efforts, including industry appropriate ISO Certifications, PCI/DSS Certifications and has been a major contributor to the due-diligence necessary during Acquisitions, Mergers and Sales of multiple companies.

Matt’s social outreach activities include annual donations and volunteer work for at-risk teen organizations in the Denver Metro Area, as well as sponsorship and volunteering through his company, Tech Mercenaries, for the City of Aurora E-Cycling program. Matt and his wife are major donors to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and multiple Minority Outreach organizations across Metro Denver.

Matt is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending his time outside of work hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. He is currently training his Pointing Labrador Retriever, Beau Duke for his first HRC certification, and further enjoys hosting dinner parties and wine tasting events with his wife Bia. Matt enjoys many of Colorado’s highly awarded microbrews, and is a burgeoning Jazz Saxophonist.
